Biography
Nancy Naomi Carlson earned a B.A. from Queens College and a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland. Her Char translations have appeared in many excellent journals; her poetry chapbook
Complications of the Heart won the 2002 Robert Phillips Prize from Texas Review Press, and her book of poems
Kings Highway won the 1997 Writer’s Publishing House competition. She teaches at The Writer’s Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
