Tony Whedon’s trombone can also be heard regularly with the Barry Ries / Tony Whedon Quintet, has also published poems and essays in Harper’s, Agni, American Poetry Review, Iowa Review, Prairie Schooner, Ploughshares, Salmagundi, Shenandoah, Sewanee Review, and elsewhere. He has published scores of essays on the literature, art, and music of the developing world, including Haiti, Ecuador, and Shanghai.
