Elizabeth A.I. Powell is the author of three books of poems and a novel. Her latest Atomizer was published by LSU Press in 2020. Her second book of poems, Willy Loman’s Reckless Daughter: Living Truthfully Under Imaginary Circumstances was a 2016 New Yorker Books We Love and won the 2015 Anhinga Robert Dana Prize. Her first book, The Republic of Self, is a New Issue First Book Prize winner, selected by C.K. Williams. Her novel Concerning the Holy Ghost’s Interpretation of JCrew Catalogues, was released in Spring 2019. Her work has appeared in the Pushcart Prize Anthology, American Poetry Review, The New Republic, The Women’s Review of Books, The Colorado Review, Ploughshares, and elsewhere. She is Professor of Creative Writing at Vermont State University. She also serves on the faculty of the low-residency MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
